As one of the few Christian schools in the area, Fulford Christian has the unique opportunity to provide an exclusive program of our own under the guidance of the ministry of the church.
We are committed to meeting the needs of all children. By allowing children to succeed in a classroom that is appropriate to their individual learning level, we will foster growth in positive self-esteem. This, in turn, will enable them to achieve the backbone of development.
We will also see growth and understanding in self-awareness, relationships, discovery, communication, conceptualization and creativity. This commitment will ultimately lead us on our journey toward an effective school experience.
The Building Bridge Program at Fulford Christian School is a stepping stone from our Pre-K to Kindergarten. In keeping with the philosophy of Fulford Christian Preschool, each child that God has created is unique and special. All children have basic needs and Fulford Christian will continue to meet these basic needs. The center has successfully empowered children to grow and develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
Our Kindergarten offers small classes - eight children with two teachers in each classroom, advanced curriculum, which includes Math, Phonics, Science, Library, Computer classes, Spanish classes, Drama, Garden Activities and Physical Education classes.
Field trips include the public library, police and fire stations, Museum of Science, the Log Cabin (botanical garden), Miami International Airport, Dade County Youth Fair, Miami Shores Theater of Performing Arts (live theater), nature trails. We offer a safe, secure environment with after school care. Uniforms are mandatory.
